The company, who have been a part of the Bristol retail landscape since 1825 relocated the business from the Soapworks building to the nearby Brunel Rooms and with the move, created a whole new chapter for the company. With the restructure moving the company away froma ‘homecentre’ business, the company have opened the brand new, showrooms concentrating on luxury interiors – including Fitted Kitchens and Bathrooms, Made to Measure curtains and blinds and a luxury Beds showroom boasting the best of British and world leading brands. The WOW Factor Gardiner Haskins’ Managing Director puts this success down to the company’s focus in delivering high quality and expert knowledge. “We’ve seen a positive start to 2019 and it shows that investing in the new showrooms has really paid off. With a lot of negativity surrounding the retail sector and the economy in general, we’re seeing great sales and footfall which confirms we’ve made the right moves to secure our future. “By focusing on delivering quality interiors, combined with our expert knowledge and our central location, we have positioned ourselves as the best and most inspirational showrooms in the city. We’ve had such positive feedback from customers and the expression on their faces when they see the new showrooms tells us they have that WOW factor. “ “Our staff are the key to our success and it is their expert knowledge that sets us apart. They have decades of experience in customer service and unparalleled expertise in their departments, making them invaluable to the business and our customers.” The new showrooms will also be supported with Gardiner Haskins’ brand new-look website – which launched in March 2019. With the modern world very much online and more customers using the web to shop and research, the new website is a place for customers to not only shop hundreds of products but to find out more about the stores, products, ranges and more. In store appointments and consultations can also be booked easily through the website. Community Minded Gardiner Haskins is also cementing itself in Bristol by focusing their charitable efforts on local causes. In 2019 the company will be fundraising in support of Bristol Children’s Hospital’s sensory play pro-gramme. They have joined The Grand Appeal’s Play 4 All Business challenge, joining forces with 24 other local businesses. Each business involved in the challenge aims to raise £1000 each – totalling the £25,000 needed to fund the programme annually. The invaluable sensory play programme at Bristol Children’s Hospital encourages young patients to engage and interact through play and assists in making them feel more comfortable in a sometimes-scary hospital environment. Gardiner Haskins Interiors has once again chosen to support the Grand Appeal as it’s charity of the year following last Summer’s Gromit Unleashed 2 Trail where they hosted the ‘Hound of Music’ sculpture at the Bristol store.
